Kangaroo care means placing your baby skin to skin against your chest. Your baby hears your heartbeat, feels your warmth, and recognizes your scent.
The kangaroo top helps make these moments comfortable. It is not a baby wrap or carrier. You use the top when you are sitting or reclining comfortably, so your baby can rest safely and warmly against your chest.
Kangaroo care with your baby
For kangaroo care, it is often advised to spend at least one sleep and feed cycle of your baby together. This gives your little one time to calm down, sleep, and wake up for a feeding.
During kangaroo care, you remain awake and in a sitting or semi-reclined position. The kangaroo top is intended for peaceful moments together, for example, on the couch or in a comfortable chair.
You can do kangaroo care for as long as feels good for both of you, sometimes half an hour, sometimes longer. Some parents choose to keep their baby close for longer periods throughout the day.
Kangaroo care is practiced worldwide and is also used in hospitals for newborns, where skin-to-skin contact is seen as a valuable moment of closeness between parent and child. At home, kangaroo care is still less commonly applied, even though it can be a peaceful way to spend time together there too.

Returns Information
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After notifying us of your return, you have another 14 days to send the product back. You will receive the full order amount back; only the return costs are at your own expense. Returns can be made by contacting us at hello@naturalcosykids.nl, after which we will refund the amount within 14 days once the product has been received in good condition. Exchanges are also possible; please feel free to contact us for this; the return shipping costs will then be at your own expense.
Shipping information
We do our best to ship your order as quickly as possible, within 1-3 business days. Sometimes delivery may take a little longer, for example, if a product is out of stock. In that case, we will inform you as soon as possible. Shipping costs are €5.95 for orders under €100 within the Netherlands and €7.95 for orders under €100 to Belgium. Shipping is free for orders over €100. Delivery is via PostNL and usually takes place on the next business day between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, although we cannot guarantee the exact delivery time.
